BECKY LEE
RESIDENT ARTIST - BLACK & GRAY REALISM

Becky didn’t find tattooing right away—it found her after she explored nearly every other path first.
Before entering the tattoo industry, Becky spent years searching for something that felt like more than just a job. She explored fashion, drawn to aesthetics and personal expression. She spent time in fitness, appreciating the discipline and transformation it brought. She even attended esthetician school, thinking it might become her long-term career path. While she enjoyed each experience, none of them felt complete enough to fully commit to.
Something was always missing.
While attending esthetician school, Becky found herself constantly sketching, building tattoo concepts, and creating a portfolio instead of focusing only on coursework. That’s when everything clicked—tattooing wasn’t just another interest or hobby. It was something she couldn’t stay away from.
Once she realized that, she committed fully.
Breaking into the industry wasn’t easy. Becky walked into shop after shop—nearly fifteen in total—hearing “no” more times than she could count. But every rejection only made her want it more. Eventually, one shop gave her a chance, introducing her to the dedication, discipline, and passion required to succeed in tattooing.
Today, tattooing has become the place where everything Becky explored before finally came together: art, detail, creativity, discipline, and connection. What started as a search for direction turned into a career driven by passion and purpose.
